September Fest
Life in my native town is really calm. But when the first weekend in September comes the town becomes so crowdy, full of smiles, music and very happy mood.
The festival starts with the festive pace of whole Rakhiv district and every village tries to look the best in their original clothes.
Yesterday was the brynzya day (brynzya is the name of sharf cheese that local folk produces here) On that day every village from Rakhiv district presents its own producers of brynzya and brynzya itself. Everybody has a great chance to buy the best cheese, to try many local dishes and just have a wonderful day with the authentic music and dances. We had so much luck with the weather, it was really hot, like in summer and we could take some sunbathes as well while enjoying the music.
In the Carpathians (Ukraine) shepherds have a special instrument - trembita that is used both for work and fun. In the morning the shepherds are waked up with its tone. During the day it's used for the deterrence of bears. And in the evening after the work they may celebrate a little bit playing this strange instrument. The most skillful shepherds can play it so good that one can hardy resist the temptation to listen to it till the very morning.
Very often this festival is visited by international guests. Here we can see (if I'm not mistaken) the troupe from the Check Republic. The guys were so funny and cool. You can't imagine how hot their dances were!
Small Ukrainians who are happy to participate in the pace. They shouted out "Hey Rakhiv!"
Typical Ukrainian men clothes, wide trousers (sharovary), the shirt (vyshyvanka) and a stylish cap (forgot its name :)
It's really cool to see such a diversity of folk clothes not only for native citizens but for foreigners as well. So, if you happen to be in Ukraine in the very beginning of September next year, feel free to come to hospitable Rakhiv and enyoj the whole celebration. I'm sure you'll like it.

Old new stuff
This summer I'm not disciplined at all, especially with posting. Photos of my jewellery have to wait for weeks to be uploaded. It's bad not only because I don't show the world my new stuff, but because of the absence of emotions that actually created it.
Time has come. I feel an urgent need to change it. No doubt. I mean it really.
It's a challenge for me to post often, although there are so many interesting things to share..
So, wish me luck to succeed. Ok, let's start.

Choker Mania
You probably know the feeling when you can´t stop doing something although your head tells you to stop every single minute. I was always crazy about the chokers, but this summer I´ve got a real choker mania. I´m so much into them, that I don´t have time to do anything else. And honestly I don´t have the slightest desire to turn polymer clay into earrings, bracelets or something else... My chokers must be really thankful for being so devoted to them :)
My loyal clients have been already asking me about the new earrings and my answer stays the same "They are coming soon".But are they really coming? Every day shows me that I´m not ready for earrings yet.
And that means only one - one will have a good choice of chokers in my etsy shop :)

Creating the mood
This year summer is not like summer here. It´s pretty cold for summer and it´s raining too much for summer, & I wear my coat too often this summer but it´s not too much colour for this summer. The only way to save the summer mood is to be full of colours :) That´s my choice and so it is my summer collection... colours, plain forms, and geometrical patterns...
I´m sure, happy people don´t wear a lot of black, although my favourite new dress is black :) and I´m looking forward to warm weather for putting it on :)

My Wonderful Trip
My last post was in April! Incredible!!!!! Am I so lazy or busy? You can guess the anwer, I won´t tell on me :)) Ok, the June is ending and I´m trying to finish as many things as possible. I made some new earrings and necklaces but unfortunately my camera is broken and I can´t take pictures of them. But you don´t think that my post will be without pictures, right?
This month I had a wonderful trip to an amazing place. Will you guess the name of the city if I tell you that it´s one where the tourists wait for the midday at the Prague Clock to see the figures that start moving only at that time. Or maybe it´s easier for you to guess the name if I tell you that the Mango store looks like a museum inside with the architectual elements from the epock of baroque?
Ok, for those who have never been there but will definitely visit it in future I´ll tell it - it´s PRAGUE.
If you really like the city, you leave a small part of your heart there. if you leave a part of your heart somewhere you surely come back there :)
SO, it was my first visit, but hopefully not the last one :)
Thanks to my wonderul friend Puziko for having a great time there.

Red and Grey
Colours.. I like all of them, green, purple, red, yellow.. All colours seem great and I like playing with mixing them to have interesting undertones. These days my favourite combination is red mixed with orange and grey mixed with a bit of purple. As a result I've got a new necklace with interesing red and grey undertones :) Sometimes a slight change of colour makes such a great difference.
Developed inner sence of colour, creating interesting, unexpacted colour combination -that's someting that I really like about designers.
